Stack em 3000 high...

I had to finally post this. It's been a steady rotate for a minute now...

Lyrics:
Nothings more attractive than a heavy praying woman
to a him when those and them been defecating on me (ughh)
Her would sense the heaven in him when Andre omened
baby I’m hell, save me don't bail
crazy I tell you all of this in the middle of a club
where words tend to get thrown around lightly like like "Love"
and "Friend" and "Rockstar" and "So and So’s a genius"
So him vow to never utter him do unless him mean it.
Her proud like her mother and ooohh momma sweet.
so you just know that juicy fruit ain't gon fall too far from the tree
So if we ever whoopty whoop
I want all that bleep-dy-bleep
On this nasty carpet Bixby-fresh, on one knee
Say I do I do I do I do I do
So we can float up outta here in this hot air balloon
Lets put a baby butterfly up in your lil' cocoon
and maybe 2030 our baby, she’ll be nerdy, make the whole club swoon

Ad Lib:
She'll love books and cook and nook, just like you.
And when she's done being young, she'll dress like you.
We'll call her Love22.
She'll tote a .22.
The lazy version.
Well, at least a .38"

Oh this was nice...

I received this email today from Ashvin. He let me know how big fans that he and his fiance are of my work. And that I may want to know that my work made it into their engagement photos.

Nice.
But now I can't do it for my engagement photos.
Boo.

See the entry here.

Thanks Ashvin and Casie for the love. It fills me. :)

Terry Richardson shot me!

He did. And I still have my underwear on...

See it here

I was riding Bleu one day to BBDO. When I left I saw this photo shoot happening. I decided to take a few pictures for this blog. I honestly thought that I blogged about it. I can't seem to find it. So here are the pics from it.

I have some more images at home that I will add and repost.

My apologies...I stand corrected.

I am in NC with my best friend Nooch for his photo show Friday night. I decided to bring my bike. I set out on a ride yesterday and it was nice. It's super quiet and there is nothing around but the world and us. So there is a lot of time to just commune. I am riding and out of nowhere I hear, "You know you have been getting my name wrong." I think oh really? The voice says, "Yeah. It's 'Bleu' as in cheese. Not 'Blue' as the color. But I can see how you would make that mistake." I am like "Ohhhhhhhh. My bad. I had it all wrong.

So I stand corrected. Bleu Note. Not Blue Note. My apologies. A mistake that won't happen again.

Appalled...

I was in Atlanta last weekend. I picked up my rental car and immediately realized that I left my Auxiliary cable for the stereo. Shit. So I have to listen to to radio. This is gonna be interesting. I don't normally play the radio so I don't know what's playing.

From the onset its like "1 -Lil' Wayne, Drake, and Gucci Mane- 07.9".

This song comes on that is Lil Wayne. I hear this lyric that immediately jumps out to me. I am thinking, "Nah- there's no way he said that. His voice is all fucked up at times, I prolly just heard it wrong."

I here the song again. Turns out, he said just what I thought he said. I am immediately feeling the blow. I cannot believe he is saying this. Again- as race has been a consistent topic that keeps cropping up. So has the cultural issue of color gradation among blacks. This statement is surely one that should not be blasted on the radio. There are kids listening. Even moreso, there are ADULTS listening.

The lyric of discussion is:
Beautiful black woman, I bet that bitch look better red

I am in the truck with my 2 brothers when I decide to start googling on my iPhone to see if anyone else is at arms about this the way I am.

Turns out there are.

I hate to even post this track. But it's 8 Million views in so my few don't matter. But I want you to hear the line for yourself.
